Contracted IT Services

Server health checks

Based on a three month cycle our server checks provide you with a regular fitness check of your server. For two of the three months MBS technical support checks your server remotely to ensure that everything is running as it should be. The remaining month involves a physical site visit which allows our technical support staff to confirm the physical state of the server, and check that data can be restored from backups. After each check a report is provided with the checklist results and any recommendations that may be necessary

Server / Workstation Imaging

On a monthly basis MBS Technical Support will create an image of the computer on to hardware provided by MBS and then store this image offsite. The imaging process does not involve powering down the computer being imaged, whilst there may be a slight reduction in the performance or response times of the computer being imaged it is still available to users and functional. Also includes Server health check.
Server: $300 per month, .additional Workstations: $50 per month

Fixed Price Disaster Recovery

Fixed price disaster recovery from MBS gives you peace of mind. Do you know how long it would take to recover from a disaster and have your servers back up and running again or how much it would cost you? Think of Fixed Price Disaster recovery as insurance for your information and systems. There is nothing more important to your business than being able to function. In the event of a disaster with your server MBS guarantees to have you up and running again within 4 hours.
MBS Fixed Price Disaster Recovery includes an appropriate disaster recovery plan, Server health check, monthly image backup of the server, confirmation that the images are usable, and the availability of a ‘hotswap’ server if your server is unusable.

Fixed Price Technical Support

A fixed monthly price for all your IT support. Includes Server health check and Server Imaging for peace of mind. As part of our belief in supporting our clients MBS believes in providing a fixed cost of IT support, ensuring that your IT systems run as smoothly as possible, and there are no hidden surprises. The traditional break/fix model of technical support is erratic, expensive, and interruptive to your business continuity. Regardless of the market or industry your business operates in knowing exactly what your costs are, and being able to take your IT environment for granted are must haves.

IT Audit

MBS will do a complete no-obligation, audit of your IT environment and provide a full, easy to understand report of your systems, with a MBS Benchmark, any recommendations for potential improvements, and highlight any areas that may need urgent attention such as patches or security risks.

Server Optimization

Sometimes things take forever when they really shouldn’t. MBS Server Optimization can reduce the frustration at having to wait for things from your servers. Over time log files, cached information, hard drive and database fragmentation, and bad user habits can severely reduce the performance of your server. Server optimization includes defragmentation of the server hard drives, clearing out of all unnecessary cache files, archiving of log files, SQL database defragmentation, installation of any critical patches. A report on the condition of the server, including a MBS benchmark, is provided upon completion for your records.

Data Structure Optimization

Have you ever found yourself wading through folder after folder in the desperate search for a particular file? Over time the folder structure on your server can easily get out of control. The Data Structure Optimization service is designed to fix this very problem. MBS works alongside you to develop a better structure for your files, relocate the data to the appropriate locations, define policies for the use, structure and security of your data, and communicate this to all the users in your organization.
